Hey gang,

It's been a while since I've given an update here. Not only has COVID gotten in the way of my ability to keep playtesting and refining the game, but I've also had this nagging little problem of wrapping up my PhD.

All the same, development is still ongoing. Here's the latest release, which feels GREAT! Here's the list of changes that you can find in v.0.3.2:

Formatting/theming:

• Font updates throughout, for most major headings.
• New custom artwork for the suits, better relating to their purpose in the game.
• Section dividers have new style, renamed heading titles as follows:
  • “Playing Praxis Arcanum” -> “Skin Deep”
  •  “Rules for Play” -> “The Bones”
  •  “Episode Zero” -> “Fleshing it Out”.

• Removed summary text at the beginning of each section.
• Included sidebars as scrawled notes throughout the book.
• Updated Deckbox art and design.
• Adjusted flow for “Characters” subtitles from “Cards -> Praxis -> Adding Cards -> Deck Box” to “Cards -> Adding Cards -> Praxis -> Deck Box”
• Moved “Etiquette of Play”, “Safety Mechanics”, and “Playing the Game” from “Skin Deep” to “Fleshing it Out”.

Content/rules:

• Included “Story Example” and “Play Example” sections, giving an example of narrative and card play in Praxis Arcanum.
• Playing off-suit cards now has a Strength of 1, as opposed to a Strength of 0.
• Included description of how the “Help” Deckbox Perk can be used to Modify the Action Result.
• Included playable setting: Haven, with pre-filled Questionnaire for campaign or one-shot play.
